June 30, 2008 - We are still open and shipping orders at a steady pace. Most orders are shipped the next business day from the when they are placed, however due to the volume, we sometimes get a day behind.
We will be closed on Thursday July 3rd and Friday July 4th for Independence Day, however you can still place orders online 24/7. Orders placed over the Holiday weekend will be processed on Monday July 7th.
June 09, 2008 - The Online Shopping Cart is Back open, however some items are selling out quickly, so from this point on we will Only be accepting Online Credit Card orders. All Orders received since the start of the sale have now been processed. There are still about 250 to pack and ship, and these will go out over the next few days. Please use the links above to check the status of your order if you are unsure. Any questions about an order please email us and be sure to include your order number. sales@makarov.com
When placing orders online, PLEASE make sure you have your billing and shipping address correct, and that you provide a valid Email and Day time phone number. Proof read your order before hitting the "Submit Order" button, we can not add items to an order after you submit it. Orders submitted with Incorrect or Invalid billing, shipping or contact information will not be processed.
Some items that we had listed as "Sold out" are on the "Misc Items" shopping cart page in very limited numbers.
June 6th, 2008 - Well no deal could be reached, so its back to processing and shipping the current back log of orders (thanks again to those that have so understanding). As soon as those are completed we will re-open the Online Shopping Cart for new orders. This should happen no later than Monday evening.
June 2nd, 2008 - It appears we have a possible Sale of the Business with final word due on Friday June 6, 2008. All currently received orders will be held until that time, and if a sale does not occur will than be processed and shipped starting on June 7th. If you are not sure of the status of your order, you can use the links above and to the right to check. If you do not want your order held, please email us at sales@makarov.com with your order number and we can cancel the order. If a sales agreement can not be reached then we will reopen the Online shopping cart again and continue with the 40% off sale as soon as all pending orders are processed and shipped.
May 29th 2008 - We have a sale pending of the Business. All orders that have not been processed are currently frozen. Updates about the pending orders and status of the sale will be posted by Monday June 2nd 2008.
May 28th, 2008 - We are very sorry, but a computer error occurred
while attempting to download orders received on May 22nd, and 23rd 2008 to the
Makarov.com Website. All Billing and Credit Card information received during
that time was erased and is not accessible. We are unable to process any order
that was received during this time span. At no time has your Credit card
information been compromised. This information is erased from our secure server
as soon as the order is downloaded to our processing computer, however while
downloading the orders received during this time frame, a power outage occurred
which caused the orders to be erased before they could be saved.
Again we are very sorry this has happened. We would ask that you please place
your order again online, however we fully understand if you do not wish to do
so. All orders received after May 23rd 2008 will be processed in the order
that they were received and shipped ASAP. We are currently running about
3-4 days behind on orders.

May 21st, 2008 - Shopping cart is back online, many items have either already sold out, or are selling out quickly. Several items are being added to the "Misc Items" Shopping cart page as they are uncovered or no longer needed. These include sights, parts, odd ball items, packing stuff we don't need any longer, etc. Check the shopping cart pages daily for Special discounts and deals as the last of the Inventory sells.
May 19th, 2008, 1:45PM Update - Due to the over whelming number of Orders received so far today, we have had to take the Shopping Cart Off Line again until we get caught up on orders and see what remaining Inventory we have. Sorry for any problems, please check back on Wednesday May 21, 2008 at 5pm. All orders received today until 1:45pm EST will be processed in the order that they were received.
May 19th, 2008 - We have begun a Flat Rate 40% off sale on all remaining inventory on orders of $25.00 or more. Once an item sells out, it will be taken off the website. We will NOT be restocking any items. If you do not see an item listed on the shopping cart pages, it is no longer available.
The Shopping Cart pages will be condensed as items sell out. Limited availability items and One of a Kind items will be listed on the Miscellaneous Items shopping cart page.
May 7th, 2008 - Makarov.com is sorry to announce that we will be closing our "Doors" for good. We have been on the Internet for 16 years now, from humble beginnings in a Townhouse Basement, to a Full service Retail Store and Gunshop, and back to Mail Order only again. We would like to say now, a big Thank You to our loyal customers that have been with us from the beginning, and to all of the new customers who have joined the Ranks of the Makarovniks over the years.
We will continue to sell our remaining inventory online, for as long as stock remains. On Friday May 9th at about 4pm EST, we will take our Shopping cart system Off Line for 10 days. This will allow us to do a final Inventory and count, and list all remaining items on the website.
We are also entertaining offers on purchase of either the Business Inventory, or the Business as a whole. Serious inquiries can call 304-776-2121 Mon-Fri 9am to 4pm EST.
Unless the business is sold as a whole, once the current inventory of Makarov.com propriety items is gone, they will not be available again. We will not license these for production unless they are purchased as part of the complete business. These include, Barrel Presses, Machined Firing Pins, CZ52 Slide releases, Sight Dot Kits, Sight Strip Kits, Aftermarket barrels, etc.
We reserve the right to cancel any and all Internet orders at any time if we have a contract on the Business or Inventory. Any Orders received prior to 4pm on May 9th will be filled and shipped as normal. All pending back orders are hereby cancelled, we will not be accepting any back orders from this day forward.
All current products and projects in development are suspended.
