General Comments:
This is very similar to the Hornady 95 gr JHP/XTP load. I have some ambitions
of taking this one up to a little over 1000 ft/s so that it comes close the
Cor Bon 9x18M load. Cor Bon appears to use the Sierra 95 gr JHP bullet for
their loads. I have not shot this at night, but I suspect HS6 burns slower
than the low-flash Cor Bon powder.
As expected, the shorter barreled FEG SMC-918 produces lower muzzle velocity.
I'll need a faster powder to produce Cor Bon type velocities for this little
gun.
I'll probably try to take this one to about 6.3 grains based on what I found and comments from a fellow shooter who has had success with this.
